Season 5 of The Real Housewives of New York City will take go on without Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Kelly Bensimon and Cindy Barshop as they were let go this past Thursday.
So who will be part of the season five cast? Well, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan will return for the upcoming season. But, there may also be some new faces on our screens.
The New York Daily News is reporting that three new housewives will be added to the New York City lineup, including, Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, and Aviva Drescher.
Carole is a former ABC news producer and was married to one of the Kennedy sons. She has no children and also has a best-selling book, ’What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship and Love’.
Heather, a single mother of two, owns a shape-ware line called Yummy Tummy. (Hmm.. just like JZ!) She is also a clothing designer and is best known for helping superstars such as Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce launch their clothing lines.
And last but not least, Avivia is a mother of three with her husband Reid. He founded Spencer Clarke Securities and Investment Banking. ($$$$)
They don’t sound to exciting, eh? Will you miss Jill, Alex, Kelly or Cindy? Will you watch season 5?
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Caroline Manzo is walking to raise money for Hug-a-Bunny Rabbit Rescue.
"Every animal deserves to be a member of a loving family, in a safe home. I know our three dogs, Austin, Atlas, and Chaos are very much a part of our family… Your donation will help Best Friends continue lifesaving adoption and spay/neuter programs, rescue at-risk animals and find new homes for them, and save animals from the misery of life in puppy mills. These are just a small number of examples of all the good things your contribution makes possible: $5 feeds 5 dogs a day, $25 is enough to fix a dog or cat to prevent unwanted litters, $50 can provide five cats with microchip IDs to help them find their families if lost.”
Bethenny Frankel, hubby Jason and some crew members of Bethenny Ever After were lost at sea this past weekend.
Bethenny and Jason went on a boat trip from Block Island, RI to Nantucket, MA on Saturday and due to a GPS failure, they were lost at sea for over twenty hours!
The GPS aboard the ship failed during the journey, leaving Bethenny and the others stranded in the middle of the ocean as the captain tried to reach the coast-guard.
"The captain had to call the Coast Guard and we were hit by a big wave. It was very scary. It was traumatic. Absolutely traumatic…We were in the middle of the deep sea with no land or anybody near us. The captain had never, in 30 years, called the Coast Guard." Bethenny told E! News.
"It was so scary…I was thinking, ‘Oh, my God, Bryn!’ I’m not going to be there at six o’clock in the morning when she wakes up and she’s going to wonder where Mommy is, and gosh, if something were to happen to me, what would happen to her? I was having horrendous thoughts."
Luckily, the Coast Guard was able to find the boat and direct them back to shore.
Thank goodness! If anything were to happen to B we would be devastated!

Ex-Husband of Real Housewife Convicted of Child Molestation
Are ya ready for this one?
The National Enquirer reports that the first husband to Kim Zolciak, the star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and father of 14-year-old Brielle and 10-year-old Ariana, Daniel Dominic Toce, is currently in a Connecticut state prison after pleading guilty to molesting a 15-year-old.
A source tells the Enquirer, “When she got the news, she was sick to her stomach. Kim can’t stop thinking about the shocking crime that Daniel committed on that innocent girl.”
Daniel is no stranger to brushes with the law. Way Back in 2004, Daniel was charged with breach of peace, felony robbery, and larceny. And in 2010 he was arrested for sexual injury of a minor.
Daniel pleaded guilty in the molestation case and has been sentenced to ten years behind bars. When he is released, he will be on probation for an additional ten years and will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Kim hopes to cut off all communication between him and their two daughters said the source.
Taylor Armstrong’s estranged husband, Russell was found hanging from an electrical in a L.A. home August 15th. But could this mean he may have been a murder victim?
Although Russell Armstrong’s death was ruled a suicide, family of Russell suspect otherwise.
"We want a murder investigation," Armstrong’s mother, John Ann Hotchkiss, told Us Weekly. "We will do whatever is necessary to proceed."
Russell’s mom does admit that he was overwhelmed from finances, yet she says he was never suicidal.
"(Russell) was personable and warm and had a giving heart more than anyone I have ever know, he cared about people and loved his children almost to a fault. knowing him as a person and how he valued life, I don’t think he would do this…The general consensus of everyone we know who loved and knew Russell (is that) he was murdered and there was a set-up."
Crazy, huh? How do you think Bravo handled the death of Russell thus far?
Rumor has it that a housewife from D.C. might make her way back onto Bravo.
Cat Ommanney, author of Inbox Full and one of the stars of The Real Housewives of D.C. might be making her way to the big apple. According to a new report, Cat is being considered as a replacement/new addition to The Real Housewives of NYC!
But don’t get your hopes up yet folks, there are no guarantees nor any word from Bravo.
